Roulette Myths

Roulette is a simple game and anyone can play roulette even without skills and strategies. That is why the Roulette game is very popular.

However, if you want to experience fun and excitement at the Roulette table avoid these common myths that can make you lose a lot of money.

Myth # 1: All Roulette Wheels are similar with one another

Actually, all Roulette wheels are not similar with one another.

Basically there are two types of Roulette wheels, the American Roulette wheel and the European Roulette Wheel. American Roulette has 38 slots while the European Roulette has only 37 slots.

The number of slots really makes a difference in the casino advantage and the winning odds of the players. The casino has 5.26% advantage with the American Roulette wheel, while the European Roulette wheel has only 2.7% casino advantage.

So if you want to earn more at roulette choose your wheel wisely.

Myth # 2: Every spin of the Roulette Wheel is not in random order

We can say that myth number two is the most common of all myths.

The previous spins do not affect the future spins of the roulette wheel. This is simple; the Roulette wheel does not have a memory chip inside like a computer. There is no recorded data of the previous spins from the Roulette wheel and therefore there is no future data to be based upon.

If the ball landed on the Red spot ten times, it does not mean that it will land on the Black next since it is due to land on black. That is not possible. The ball may land on the Red spot even for one hundred times and no one can say where the ball will fall next.

The player's odds will stay at 50%-50% chance. You may lose or you may win. The reason for having a 50%-50% chance is that each spin on the roulette wheel is independent and it can never affect any future spins.

Many players like to bet on a "sleeping number". The numbers that have not yet been landed on by the ball is called "sleeping numbers". Players thought that these numbers will due to come out soon - actually they are not.

There is no logical explanation that can truly say what will come out next. Only luck can help you.

Myth # 3: A mathematical System can beat the Roulette Wheel

This is connected with myth number two. This is false information. There is no mathematical system that can beat the roulette wheel because there is no mathematical computation.

No past data and no future data, the roulette wheel doesn't even have a memory inside because the roulette wheel is not computer generated.
